The vision behind STADTbaden

Our founder Nora – The soul of STADTbaden

Hi, I'm Nora , the founder of STADTbaden . My dream was to create a place where people could meet each other, try new things, and feel part of a vibrant community – here in Düsseldorf. Experience things together, exchange ideas, immerse yourself in the city, and return to everyday life with a smile.

I know the feeling well: You keep resolving to do more – but then the couch keeps you stuck. When I did manage to get up in the evening and go out, it was always great. But often I lacked the motivation or people who were interested in the same thing. At work, colleagues are often in completely different stages of life than you are – it's not like it was when you were a student, where everyone had similar interests and daily routines.

And what I always noticed was that when I went on city trips—for example, to Hamburg —I did exactly what I wanted to do in my everyday life: trying new restaurants, going to the theater, taking city tours, visiting rooftop bars. And every time I thought to myself: Why don't I do that here at home? Düsseldorf has everything to offer! But in everyday life, it's just not so easy to put these plans into practice.

I've often been new to a city myself and always wanted a community that would welcome me, inspire me, and make it easier for me to settle in. That's exactly what I wanted to create with STADTbaden : a network for people who enjoy genuine encounters, diverse activities, and a warm sense of community.

Düsseldorf is full of treasures – together in a diverse community, we discover them, share experiences, and create lasting memories. STADTbaden is more than just a leisure activity – it's a community where everyone is welcome.

I look forward to getting to know you and rediscovering our city together! Perhaps we'll visit one of my favorite spots? The Japanese Quarter, the German Opera on the Rhine, or the "Hammer Blick"...
